The Working Capitol

The Working Capitol provides coworking and customisable office space in restored heritage shophouses. Since launching in 2015, its network has grown to more than 40 heritage properties and over 150 member companies. Options include WorkSpot hot desks for individuals and small teams, WorkDesk dedicated desks with personal shelving and signage, and WorkSpace private offices for teams of two to ten in its flagship building. Larger organisations can choose an Enterprise Solution, a private shophouse fitted out to match their brand and operations for teams of up to 200. For businesses that don't need a physical desk, a WorkConnect virtual office plan offers business address registration with administrative support.

Members receive a personalised access card for 24-hour entry, a mobile app for services and perks, and support from engagement staff at reception on weekdays. Shared facilities include a fully stocked pantry with unlimited snacks and drinks, three meeting rooms, phone booths, ergonomic furniture, lockers, a lounge, a balcony, and showers. Serviced leases require a one-month deposit and can be ended at any point with two months' notice, without termination fees. Membership also includes community events, a members' chat channel, and perks at partner cafés, restaurants, bars, and fitness studios in the surrounding area.
